Immune System
The immune system is an incredible mechanism, made up of a variety of responses to an insult against your body, for example from a bacterial, viral, fungal or parasitic infection. Our immune system rapidly gets to work and combats things our bodies perceive as a threat.
Unfortunately, sometimes the immune system can turn on itself (for example in cases such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis).
If you’re worried about your immune system, our GPs can discuss any concerns that you might have. Download the app and speak to a GP today.
